Some people yearn to be betrayed. It is at the very core of who they believe themselves to be. They crave it above all things while bemoaning that everyone lets them down.

And you’ll try not to, but one way or another, they’ll make you betray them. You’ll be left with the guilt of granting them their true heart’s desire.

It is sad but it is true.
