Alien Allure
They will tell you lies.
Lies like ‘Keep your feet on the ground’. Or ‘try to fit in’. Or that to be ‘just ordinary’ is best of all. They’ll try to turn you against your own imagination.
Some of them won’t look evil. Some of them won’t be; they’ll actually believe that they are acting in your best interests.
Don’t believe what they say.
Look at the alien and the artificial and don’t be afraid to feel its pull. The metal structures like cities for robotic insects, making new patterns in the sky. The plants brought to the land from overseas, flourishing in their own way. Landscapes make strange, frightening and full of possibility. All that beyond the domestic, waiting.
See it.
Embrace it.
The allure of the alien.
