The Technology of Flowers

It might seem strange to talk about flowers as a form of technology. But think about it for a moment. Most of us don’t know exactly how our mobiles, Kindles or Wi-Fi operate So much of the technology we use goes on without our understanding how it works. Now think about the flowers. They seem to be just there, making the world a prettier place. In reality, they exist in a complex, symbiotic relationship with bees and other insects, without which there would no oranges, apples and kiwis for humans to enjoy. We should treasure flowers as we do technology
