Central Station Wagon Hoist (1)

Hidden in the way in the heart of Leeds City Centre, surrounded by newly erected buildings covered in glass, stands this remnant of the 19th century. One of what were a pair of wagon hoists for good trains, it has survived the passing of time and a changing landscape of shops and offices, to become an eye-catching curiosity.
