The Fixing of Posters is not Permitted

The city is full of signs. Warnings not to do some things and invitations to do others. Names, promises and apologies. Words everywhere. Some of them almost demand to be made fun of. These are the ones that people ignore or sometimes change, adding graffiti and badly scrawled pictures of apparently deformed genitalia.

Of course, graffiti is a sign in itself. A marking of territory. A way of saying that someone has been here.
