Walking Through Cities: Old Tracks
Old Tracks (1)
Look closely and you can see them. The old train tracks. Between a park and a still running railway line, they’re still there. Buried under leaves and litter, a few young trees already springing up between them. Who knows how many trains rumbled over these tracks? You can tell from the nearby remains of fires and empty beer cans that the only people who come here now are bored teenagers.
Old Tracks (2)
You can follow the tracks for just a few yards before they disappear into dense greenery. Still, they are the relics of so many journeys.
