A Meeting of Lines

There are places in the city where different times seem to meet. Such as here,  where a tower of metal and glass raises from behind an old brick wall. One surface is rough and worn, the other still smooth and gleaming.

Central Station

The building to the left in this photo was once a wagon hoist in the old Leeds Central Station. Behind it is a newly opened office and restaurant complex.

Walls

These two walls, so close together in space but separated by over a hundred years in time. What stories they could share.
