Walking Through Cities: Part 20
A bridge is an opportunity to see the city from a new angle. Especially if you’re a pedestrian, used to having to look up at buildings that tower above you. From up here, you can look down on it all. This bridge has a bad reputation as a jumping point.
Cars rushing beneath you. All those lives, those stories contained within them.
And from the top, where else is there to go but downward?
The underpass smells of piss. But there’s art on the walls. Even here, someone has tried. You have to admire that.
